Eczema treatment:
atopic dermatitis treatment:

Eczema or atopic dermatitis is an often itchy arms, face, and neck eruption that can start in infancy or childhood, and last for many years, tending to run in families with asthma, hay fever, and food allergies.

Treatment can range from identifying drying factors like too frequent bathing or harsh detergent products, to allergy patch testing, a type of skin testing looking for sensitivity to fragrances, preservatives, or components or latex which has been available in my own Dermatology practice since 2004.

Dermatologists have many new prescription medicines to help to alleviate patients' rashes and itching, from topical steroid cream and ointments, to oral prednisone, to injectable methylprednisolone, to newere creams and injectable and oral agents: Eucrisa, Opzelura, Dupixent, Rinvoq, and Cibinqo.

In 2016, I became President of Big River Silk Skincare (www.Bigriversilkskincare.com), to manufacture and distribute anti-wrinkle cream (GlycoShea Creams), and gentle HypoShea Moisturizer Cream

So if you or a family member is suffering from itching or breakouts that might be eczema or atopic dermatitis, consider setting up an appointment at Rheumatology and Dermatology (www.Rheumderm.com), 8143 Walnut Grove Road, Cordova TN 38018 - a suburb of Memphis, TN.

Or you can find a Dermatologist closer to you by going to the American Academy of Dermatology web site, www.AAD.org, then plugging your zip code into the "Find a Dermatologist" tab."
